"Incredible. So addicting I can't stop playing. Improvements could obviously be made. Research could be used to unlock specific genres and types as a reward for earning them. It is so much fun though. If you're looking for a game to pass the time, with no micro transactions, with rewarding gameplay, this is the game for you."
"Very good. If you update or do a sequel, some suggestions to add: 1. The ability to port your own games to other systems. This could be depicted in game as a lower cost alternative to developing a new game, and something companies did all the time in the 90's. 2. Make PC development as a more viable option. Improve PC hardware as the game progresses. 3. Overall, make distinct the hardware differences between systems: Simulations would be better on a PC, action on console, etc..."
"Best video game company simulator that there is. Been playing for years now and it never gets old. Options are few as far as what to put into the actual games.... Fun, creativity, graphics and sound...but the games you can choose to make are endless. 5 trips though the entire 20 years and you won't unlock everything. Of note...your game status will always stay the same after you've completed the 20 years after you start over again."
"Enjoyable and addictive. Got it with my paypass sub otherwise I don't know if I'd have played it outright, glad I have, it's challenging and engaging but can feel op late game (after high score mode) and the contracts don't scale with your teams power. Late game too, you know all skills and make perfectly appealing games, which is fun, but takes away the mystique of those points. I'm currently on the fan page looking up how to get all the games made.... Because heck yes! I wanna complete this!"
"Honestly, disappointed.. I love kairosoft games, but this one is frustrating. Especially if you have played game dev tycoon. I recommend playing that over this. This game seems to hold you back through every development. If your game had really high scores, somehow, you have equipment failure or a blackout that takes half of your points. Everything is too expensive to progress. You can't name your games and your employees cry if they have to do their job. Sub par game. Game dev tycoon for the W."
