"Pretty fun. Would be better if it would actually recognize more valid words. Ads are very annoying, and while I understand the necessity of them in a free to player game, but the price to go ad free (for a crossword game) is extreme. I also REALLY dislike the new placement of the shuffle button, being in the letter area. It's distracting."
"I have really enjoyed this game over the years. However, whatever the latest upgrade that keeps bringing up the ad to play Word Trip for 150 free coins keeps freezing the game. you can't exit out of it. I have to try and bring up the game at least 3 times after that to get it to disappear from the screen. Then you can only add a few word finds before the ad comes up again. Please delete this from the game."
"Not a fan of the "vs mode." not sure why they made it such an invasive part of the game. you're just trying to do the puzzles and before it goes to the next puzzle, it throws you into a "vs match." Should be a way for those who want to play, to select it instead of asking daily if we want to play it. there are enough pop ads already, you didn't need another thing to interrupt gameplay."
"Overall great game! Good challenges, and extra things to do. So if the Ads wouldn't crash and restart the game EVERY single level that would be great. I understand the need for the ads but every time it you click the >> button it links to Google play. There is no X button at the end of the ad to exit out and return to the game. So you have to click the >> button and then your own back button, get a blank screen and the game reloads. Its really frustrating for a game that has promise to be fun!"
"The game's decently fun until it eventually starts bombarding you with ads and promotions. After every game, I'd get an ad- sometimes even malicious ads, like fake virus detections or suggestive games. Almost every time, it would take an incredibly long time to get past these after the ad finished, leaving me on a screen that gave me several different prompts to download something. Even if I tried to click away, it still hyperlinked me somewhere else, and I was forced to close the game."
