DEEMO II
About this game
A kingdom created through music faces an uncertain future after a monster called 'The Ancestor' plagues the land with a destructive 'Hollow Rain'. This dangerous rain causes anyone it touches to 'bloom', turning into a flurry of white flower petals and ultimately vanishing from existence.
DEEMO II follows Echo, a girl who has bloomed but mysteriously re-appeared, and Deemo, an enigmatic station Guardian, as they journey through this rain-soaked world in hopes of finding a way to save it.
Features:
▲A Mysterious and Emotional Story:
Why did 'The Composer', the elusive being who created this world, suddenly abandon it? Why and how did Echo bloom and then come back to life? Accompany Echo as she uncovers the secrets behind these questions, journeying to uncover the truth and save the world.
▲A Combination of Rhythm and Adventure:
Explore Central Station with Echo, interacting with your surroundings as you get to know the many station residents while discovering clues and 'Charts', magical pieces of music with the power to clear away Hollow Rain. As Deemo you'll play those Charts, putting your musical skills to the test in fun and challenging rhythm sections, ultimately moving the story forward.
▲30 Core Songs + DLC Song Packs for a Total of 120+ Tracks:
Composers from around the world, including Japan, Korea, Europe and the Americas, have created an eclectic array of tracks for DEEMO II with an emphasis on acoustic instrumentation. Genres include Classical, Jazz, Chill Pop, J-Pop, and more. Infectious, emotive melodies will give music lovers dozens of fast favorites, and creative, syncopated rhythms will make sure rhythm-game aficionados have plenty to sink their teeth into.
▲Make Friends with Over 50 Station Residents:
Central Station is full of characters with their own personalities and stories. As Echo, you can chat with them as they walk about Central Station, living their lives, opening paths to different topics depending on the situation. As you talk with them and get to know them, you'll start to feel like you're part of an eccentric new community.
▲Storybook Graphics and Artstyle:
DEEMO II marries hand-drawn backgrounds with 3D models and a meticulous attention to detail that will make you feel like you're caught in a storybook, or an anime come to life.
▲Movie-Quality Animated Scenes:
DEEMO II is full of high-quality anime cutscenes, fully voiced by professional Japanese voice actors. Pair that with music composed by DEEMO and Sdorica vets, and you've got an audio and visual treat.

User Reviews
"If you haven't tried it, it's probably the best rhythm game out there of its kind. Stunning graphics. Movie-like cutscenes. Gameplay is just as engaging and challenging (even more so) than the first game, as well as being more responsive. No obligation to pay and the things you purchase you get to keep. Not to mention with recent updates they have given more free perks to long time players. It shows they value the enjoyment of their players. Companies rarely do this and all I have is respect."
"Audio popping makes the game pretty unplayable. The microtransaction are nearly insulting. With the quality of the story and visuals and the game play. I would have happily payed like 30 for the base game and like 5-10 for subsequent music packs. The cash story feels extremely scummy. I want to like the game because its deemo. Maybe once the audio issues are fixed i will try it more. But the cash shop feels like a major step back from the fun, full featured experience from deemo and the remake."
"I would give it a 5 star if only i could access the store. It keeps saying unable to show product details which is a bummer. But so far the game is just amazing, animation is beautiful, music is gorgeous, i could spend hours just walking around, watching potato people and doing nothing. Edit: One of the little chart missions give the same chart. It's the one where you have to follow the arrow on the platform and the one from Pimi :/"
"So far, the only good thing is the music. I have hope that the story will be good to as the first game had one of the best stories of any game ive played. However, the structure of the game has changed and for the worse. Instead of just being able to play through the game, there are certain currencies that once run out (and they do quickly) you either just have to wait or make ingame purchases. I would have rather just paid the 20$ for the full game instead of having more awful in-game purchases"
"I truly loved the first deemo game. I played it on my phone for a while then bought the switch port which I absolutely love and is the ideal form of the game imo. I've played the first 5 songs you unlock, but to unlock more, I need to play some of them multiple times. The first felt a lot more balanced, unlocking songs quickly enough you didn't have to... farm progression on a handful of songs. I'd rather pay a premium for a fleshed out switch version than play this for free."
