User Reviews
"At first, it was great. The game play is very fun. However, the ads have become so intrusive that you can't hardly play the game! 15-20 seconds of ads between every hand is ridiculous. Plus, a lot of them take you completely out of the game into the play store to try to get you to download another game. Returning to the game resets it and, if it's after you've won the game, you never get to see what your final score was. VERY FRUSTRATING!"
"I have tried & deleted several versions of gin. This is my favorite. Others are too rote, like a rookie player who never catches onto your strategy. One change that I really want: make it so I can arrange the cards in my hand however I want. Sometimes when there are two possibilities for completing a run or a set, the game arranges the cards in favor of the one I like the least. I may yet draw a card to fit my favored one, but it's easier to see if cards are arranged the way I want."
"Advertiment Heavy with No Option for Pay to Disable. Otherwise gameplay was mostly great. Hard difficulty has the AI suspiciously completing their hand in three or less turns at a much higher rate than seems statistically probable. At the end of the day... I would give the gameplay a 4* rating, and would keep playing were it not for the large number of ads. As it stands, however, I had to uninstall."
"Ads are prolific! Everytime you end a match there is a 30second ad, sometimes you can bypass them in less than that time and others they give you no way out. If you think about it, you're wasting a lot of time watching ads for games or products that are 100% not what they say they are. The game is decent but im not a fan anymore. Finding a different app."
"It's a decent game with good graphics. I'd rate it 5 stars but for the following. 1. No go back button. 2. The top card can be swiped by the bot before the player has a chance to notice. 3. At the "Hard" level, the bot always seems to knock at the earliest opportunity, so one can lay and prey with low dead wood, under-knock very often and usually win. 4. I can't say for sure, but I suspect that the main difference between levels is dealing the bot more favorable hands, i.e., knock on 2nd card."
